Gaussian Channel + StochRSI
Tradleware Edition
- Asset BTC/USDT
- Timeframe 1D
- Backtest Period 2018-01-01 → 2026-08-09
- Max Drawdown -14.89%
- Profit Factor 4.196
- DCA (Monthly $100) ⓘ +323.87%
Long-only trend strategy. Enters when the Gaussian channel is rising and price breaks out above the upper band, confirmed by Stochastic RSI K overbought (>80) or oversold (<15). Exits when price crosses back under the upper band or the channel reverses.
Ichimoku
Tradleware Edition
- Asset SOL/USD
- Timeframe 4H
- Backtest Period 2022-01-01 → 2026-08-09
- Max Drawdown -30.10%
- Profit Factor 3.488
- DCA (Monthly $100) ⓘ +767.09%
Long-only Ichimoku strategy tuned for SOL/USDT on the 4H timeframe. Enters on a Tenkan/Kijun bullish cross while price is above the cloud, with an MFI (>50) gate to filter low-conviction fakeouts. Exits when price closes below the Kijun (equilibrium line); a hard stop at the cloud bottom protects against full regime breakdown. Parameters: Tenkan 20 / Kijun 60 / Senkou B 120.
Gaussian Channel + StochRSI + 200 SMA Gate
Tradleware Edition
- Asset ETH/USDT
- Timeframe 1D
- Backtest Period 2022-01-01 → 2026-08-15
- Max Drawdown -10.84%
- Profit Factor 5.331
- DCA (Monthly $100) ⓘ +259.72%
Long-only trend strategy for ETH/USDT on the 1D timeframe. Enters when the Gaussian channel is rising and price closes above the upper band on a bullish candle, confirmed by Stochastic RSI K overbought (>80) or oversold (<25) and gated by a 200-day SMA bull-market filter that blocks entries during bear-regime dead-cat rallies. Exits when price crosses back under the upper band or the channel reverses; an optional trailing stop sits at the lower band.
DCA + Trend ETF
Tradleware Edition
- Asset MGK
- Timeframe 1D
- Backtest Period 2020-01-01 → 2026-08-15
- Max Drawdown -7.60%
- Profit Factor 21.979
- DCA (Monthly $300) ⓘ +36.27%
Combines fixed monthly dollar-cost averaging with a 200-day SMA trend gate on MGK. Keeps contributing a fixed amount every month regardless of conditions, adds staged dip-buy tranches at 15%/20%/30% below the all-time high, and deploys any remaining budget in a lump sum once price reclaims the 200-day SMA. Exits the entire position when price closes back below the 200-day SMA, with an optional death-cross confirmation and hysteresis band to filter out minor pullbacks.
Dollar-Cost Averaging
Tradleware Edition
- Asset BTC/USDT
- Timeframe 1D
- Backtest Period 2018-01-01 → 2026-08-15
- Max Drawdown -11.81%
- Profitable Trades 79.00%
- Profit Factor 60.268
Not a trading strategy to run live — a fair benchmark for comparing any active strategy against a simple buy-and-hold schedule. Invests a fixed dollar amount on a schedule until the initial capital is fully deployed, then closes the position at the end of the backtest to report P&L. No margin, no added funds. Works on any asset and timeframe; the numbers above use BTC/USDT to match the Gaussian Channel backtest window.
HODL
Tradleware Edition
- Asset BTC/USDT
- Timeframe 1D
- Backtest Period 2018-01-01 → 2026-08-15
- Max Drawdown -76.41%
- Profitable Trades 100.00%
Deploys 100% of the initial capital into BTC at the start date and holds untouched until the end date — no timing, no signals, no exits, pure accumulation. The position is sold only at the very end so the Strategy Tester can report P&L. Because this is effectively a single trade, some of the stats above need context: the -76.41% Max Drawdown just reflects BTC's largest peak-to-trough decline during the hold, not a risk-management failure, and the 100% Profitable Trades figure is trivial — there's only one trade to begin with, so it isn't a meaningful win rate. Any active strategy should be judged against this simplest possible baseline — if it can't beat HODL on a risk-adjusted basis, it isn't adding value. Pair with the DCA reference for a fuller passive-benchmark picture.
